To initiate a new chat in ChatLabs, follow these simple steps:
Click on the New Chat icon located at the top left corner of your dashboard.
Type or paste your prompt into the input field, and press Enter to start the conversation.
Tip: To add line breaks while typing, press Shift + Enter on Windows or ⇧ + Enter on Mac.
To start a new chat, press New Chat icon, displayed in top left corner
Type, copy the prompt and press Enter
You can also dictate your prompts using the voice input feature:
Press the Microphone icon located next to the text input field.
Speak your query.
Important: Ensure that voice input is enabled in your browser settings to use this feature effectively.
To generate images, you can use models that support plugins. Follow these steps:
Choose a model like DALL-E 3, Stable Diffusion 3, or FLUX.1 from the models menu in the top right corner.
Type a description of the image you want, and the model will generate it for you.
To access real-time web data:
Select a model that supports plugins.
Choose the Web Browsing plugin to enable live web searches.
This allows you to retrieve the most up-to-date information from the web during your chat.
To attach images or other files:
Click on the Paperclip icon next to the input field or drag and drop your files directly into the chat.
Files up to 5MB are supported, including images, PDFs, and other documents.
You can select an assistant to aid your task:
Use the Assistant Dropdown Menu located in the top left corner to choose an assistant.
If you're already in a chat, start a New Chat after selecting the assistant for it to work correctly.
To change the AI model you're interacting with:
Click on the Models Menu in the top right corner.
Choose from the available models to tailor the conversation to your needs.
If you want to hear the AI’s responses, press the Play Icon next to the message. This will play back the AI’s answer in text-to-speech format.
To copy a message:
Hover over the AI’s response.
Click the Copy Icon to copy the text to your clipboard.
If you want to resend a prompt:
Click on the Resend Icon next to the original prompt.
The AI will respond to the prompt again.
This feature is handy for when you want to review different responses or missed the initial reply.
