Profile: User Settings

The Profile section in Writingmate AI offers a variety of customization options, allowing users to personalize their experience and manage key settings. Here's an overview of what you can control.

Profile Customization

In this area, you can modify basic information about yourself:

  • Name: Change or update your display name.

  • Avatar: Customize your profile picture.

  • "What would you like the AI to know about you": This feature lets you provide personal information or instructions for the AI to follow consistently. Any details entered here will be applied to interactions, making the AI responses more personalized based on your preferences or needs.

Side-by-Side Code Viewer

For users who work with code, Writingmate provides an advanced feature called the Side-by-Side Code Viewer. This feature is turned off by default but can be enabled through the profile settings. When activated, it opens a split view within the chat, allowing you to compare or review code as you work on projects.

Manage Subscription

This section provides details about your current subscription plan. You can upgrade, downgrade, or manage your billing information directly from this tab.

Light Mode/Dark Mode

Writingmate also includes the ability to toggle between Light Mode and Dark Mode, making it easier on the eyes, especially during different times of the day or in varying lighting conditions.

Download Profile

You can download and export your Writingmate profile, providing an easy way to back up your customized preferences and profile settings. The import feature is coming soon.

Shortcuts

The Shortcuts section offers quick access to specific tools and actions within Writingmate. It's designed for users who want to streamline their workflow. For a more detailed guide on how to use these shortcuts, refer to the Using Shortcuts section.
