Use Writingmate as a desktop or mobile app

You can use Writingmate both in your browser and as a desktop app on Mac or Windows. While there is no mobile app for Android or iOS, you can access Writingmate easily on your phone's browser.

Writingmate on Mac

To install Writingmate as a desktop app, open it in Safari, click the “Share” button, and select “Add to Home Screen.” This allows you to access the chatbot just like a native app.

Writingmate on Windows PC

Follow similar steps using the Chrome browser. Open Writingmate on web, click the three-dot menu, and select "Install Writingmate" to add it to your desktop.

Writingmate on iPhone/iPad

While there’s no native iOS app, you can use Safari to visit Writingmate and add it to your home screen for quick access.

2. Tap the Share icon located at the bottom of the screen and select "Add to Home Screen" to make chat GPT easily accessible.

3. Give the shortcut a name, and Safari will place it on your home screen.

Writingmate on Android

On Android, use the Chrome browser to add Writingmate to your home screen through the browser's menu. This creates an app-like experience without needing an official app from the Play Store.
